Peoples Trust for Endangered Species (PTES) puts people and conservation together, running national surveys to monitor wild mammals.
Mammals on Roads collects records of mammals, dead and alive, along road journeys in the UK. Changes in counts of species such as hedgehogs, foxes and badgers, over time, reflect changes in the wider population. Findings have already alerted us to the decline in hedgehog and rabbit numbers, driving conservation efforts and further research.
The app records your route and enables non-drivers to log mammals as they see them.
Audio files give information about some of the species.
Help us to record the mammals on our roads and together we can work to ensure wild Britain isnt lost.
